This may be perhaps a bit of a contradictioin but I have done my share of HTML, CSS and also some JavaScript programming in the last 7 years and pure Java for only 1 year. I am a C++ developer mostly. My 'concern' i think is due to past experiences rather than unwillingness to learn. Perhaps the words 'I am afraid' were ill chosen.
I mean I am concerned that I could end up getting stuck in idiosyncrasies of JavaScript and browser dependent behaviour. My instinct is to awoid hands on approach to JavaScript technology and instead focus on GWT provided offcourse that GWT has no major bugs offcourse. With Eclipse, it's debugging and productivity of Java the reasons are compelling (provided GWT works well). --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
