hi all,
I have just come across the existence of VirtualGL and that turboVNC is a
sister project.
This hopefully suits my needs , as I do some openGL programming and I would
like to be able to have 3D accelaration when I am developing remotely.
My question is, is turboVNC server sufficient? or do I need to install
virtualGL as well on my server?
similarly, will turbovnc client be enough on client machine (some times a
linux box, other times a windows box) or do I need to install virtualGL
here as well?
The only guide I have come across is this:
http://www.virtualgl.org/vgldoc/2_1_1/#hd004001
but with turboVNC version 0.5 it certainly looks abit outdated.
if you have a guide ofr ubuntu installation I 'd appreciate it.
thank you in advance for your help.
yours sincerely,
Thanassis Silis
