Hi Rajini, thanks for this. Our problem is that because the SDO spec says we must support Java 1.4, and versions of EMF from 2.3 and beyond require Java 5, we are blocked from advancing beyond EMF 2.2.3. Your Bugzilla doesn't mention the version of EMF, but sadly I'm pretty sure there's no scope for us getting a fix on top of 2.2.3, so I think we will have to go on with the solution you have provided indefinitely.
