Up till now I've thought its better to have the JIRA emails going to the dev list as it makes it easier to notice when there's updates the developers need to look at, but we'd still get that with JIRA notifications going to the commit list and all developers should be looking at the commit list so we'll still see them and it would avoid the clutter on the dev list. I'd worry a separate mailing list just for JIRA notifications would be to easy to ignore. So +1 from me to changing JIRA notifications to go to the commit list. ...ant
