Thanks Ben, that was really helpful. Your ending does raise the other
question I had - why not just patch the satellite feed in directly.
What I am hearing you say essentially is that the time it would take
to fix the router problem was not significantly more than the time it
would take to rig any kind of work around, and trying a work around
would have taken manpower away from fixing the router. If so, that is
reasonable. I would have preferred live feed of someone in the Atlanta
studio just describing the action off of the sattelite or the ESPN.COM
boxscore to that horrible sitcom rerun - but that is just because I
was watching it off of my TiVo and did not have the option of checking
the radio or internet myself. As it was I just FF, hoping to
eventually see game action, but I was a little bummed to see I had
missed that first home run.
