Kevin told us he would be visiting NBC Burbank, but he kept his
surprise appearance during the monologue on SNL secret. He was great.

By this season's standards it was not too bad of an episode (perhaps
or perhaps not, coincidentally, relatively low Wiig content).

But my main question is this: What happened at the end? I got the
impression something went significantly wrong with timing. They re-ran
a faux-ad in the last 15 minutes (maybe this was planned, but it
seemed unusual) and those odd Wiig hot air balloon segments, which may
have been reruns, or just another variation on easy MacGruber-like
time filler. Then they held on the card of Baldwin as Godfather for a
long time before going to the sign-off. All in all the last act had
the feel of a show in which a skit had been pulled at the last minute.
