Deconstructing Segment One:

The opening theme is smooth jazz at its worst. That band can blow the
roof off of that old studio. Why aren't they doing it from the first
second of the first episode?

Ugh. The "Tongue" is back. This was a bad idea from when Studio 3 was
originally constructed for Leno, featuring a section of the stage that
slid out for the monologue and then retracted until needed again. It
never worked right.

The physical set is much lower to the actual stage floor, which means
camera height is going to be an issue.

The monologue was traditional Leno. You either like his style or you
don't. I laughed a few times, but it had been several months since I'd
last heard "the Leno 25."

The "Cheaters" segment would have been better if Eubanks had been
caught with Conan O'Brien, or even Jimmy Kimmel, as opposed to a Leno
lookalike.
