Did I just miss it somehow, or did Tom Hanks not do a night with Dave to push Toy Story 3D? I just saw it today and would like to hear what he has to say about it.
BTW, I agree with those who say it is the best film of the year so far. There have been some good animated features over the last two decades, but Pixar still does them the best (in addition to Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin). it has a 100% fresh rating on RT, though I see that Ebert was only mildly positive, and seemed to not like the 3D. I thought the 3D was almost perfect, not intrusive, but used effectively throughout the film. I wish they had a list of films that were worth the extra money for 3D, and those that can be seen in 2D without any loss. I saw The Last Airbender a few weeks ago (no way around that one, by son and wife are big fans of the show) and not only was appalled by how bad a movie it was (and my 2 informed family members agreed it was far inferior to the TV version) but pissed that I paid extra for the 3D when there was very little of it, and what was there was mostly just showing off. -- TV or Not TV ....
