Given how conditioned we all are by a lifetime of watching 2D media, I
venture to say that nothing needs to be seen in 3D unless you enjoy
the effect. Having said that, I confess to seeing "Despicable Me" in
RealD 3D in order to experience the gags that run during the credits,
which are 3D-specific. And which, I expect, make just as much sense in
2D.
