I agree with Kevin on this one. I receive the group in digest format and I find shorter posts easier to deal with. A link to an article followed by the poster's comments on same is much preferable to having the entire article retransmitted in the form of a long post. (In fact, such cut-and-paste may well go beyond the "fair use" provisions of copyright law.)
Could I go so far as to add that requoting the entirety of a previous post when responding is just as much clutter to my eyes? -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
