They did something similar on Top Gear with the hosts of Top Gear Germany.
That
one has made it to BBCA.

Fans of the British "Top Gear" might want to track down the most
recent episode of "Top Gear: Australia." Known as "The Ashes Special,"
the Australian presenters went to England and competed against Jeremy,
James, and Richard in a series of silly automotive events. Something
tells me it won't make its way to BBCA.
