Although seemingly written by a team of halfwit nerds and hacks led by
Comic Book Guy and Krusty the Clown's trained monkey and accordingly
lame and derivative, this series was like a slo-mo car crash that I
couldn't stop watching. I hate to give sylph-like and adorable Summer
Glau show-killer props here, but this is the latest genre series to
feature her that ended up in the dustbin after a shortened run. ("The
4400," which I believe went beyond two seasons, doesn't count. She was
a relatively late addition to a very large cast. On the other hand,
"Firefly," "The Sarah Connor Chronicles," "Dollhouse," "The Cape"...)
