Rupert Murdoch's Wall Street Journal is reporting that Rupert Murdoch's soon to be spun-off publishing arm may be interested in buying distressed newspapers, such as The Los Angeles Times. As I do not have a subscription to the WSJ, I cannot read or link directly, so I hope Poynter got the gist of the story right.
