This is just a heads up really. BBC Two in the UK aired "The Challenger" on Monday night, and it's quickly become one of my favourite programmes in ages, and definitely the best one-off
It's a dramatisation of the Presidential Commission into The Challenger disaster, and in particular physicist Richard Feynman's role on the commission. Feynman is a bit of a hero of mine, and this is a fine testament to him. If you've never seen them, check out some of these short films shot for the BBC back in the eighties: http://www.bbc.co.uk/archive/feynman/ William Hurt plays Feynman and he really catches him well. The rest of a really excellent cast includes Bruce Greenwood, Joanne Whalley and Eve Best (my favourite person from Nurse Jackie). The film is a co-production with the Science Channel, and I'm not sure when they're planning on screening it. But I will say that it's really worth looking out for whenever they get around to showing it. Adam -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
