Howie Schwab, the 26-year veteran researcher at the Worldwide Leader who was the biggest genuine sports geek at a place that you think you would be filled with sports geeks (and among, other things was rewarded for it by becoming the Ben Stein of a game show called "Stump the Schwab"), has been given the ax as part of the Disney-ordered corporate layoffs for seemingly no other reason than too big a salary--but hey, how about that new "SportsCenter" set that's costing perhaps how much they paid Schwab for his 26 years of service to the sports fans of America?:
