"Dick Tracy" has been revitalized by the current creative team that's been doing the strip since 2011 -- it's definitely the best it's been since at least the Dick Locher/Max Allan Collins era. As for "Brewster Rockit," I would say "de gustibus non est disputandum" in terms of calling it a "dog." (I like it quite a bit.) Of course, in a sense, all syndicated comic strips these days are "dogs" in the sense that there seems to be little, if any, growth potential in the traditional business model, with newspapers continuing to shrink and/or go out of business entirely. (You'll notice I didn't dispute "Gasoline Alley.") -- Jim Ellwanger <[email protected]> <http://www.ellwanger.tv> -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
