Of note here locally:
A new one-panel cartoon debuted in the morning paper on Monday, drawn by the 
former political cartoonist for the former-evening-now-second-morning paper. 
The article linked below gives a good idea of what it's like for artists 
attempting to break in to the print/cartoon business.
