I know that from the one episode of *Here's Lucy* I've seen on Cozi - the 
1969 episode "Lucy and Johnny Carson," which ran last week. That episode 
was basically a half hour commercial for The Tonight Show - Johnny and Ed 
are in almost every scene, the set is a reproduction of The Tonight Show 
set, and Johnny even does a monologue. I can't imagine any star today 
having the clout Lucy had then to get an episode like that on CBS.
