I feel your pain. IMDB is generally more reliable than the average wiki, but that is not saying much. A few of the writers I've interviewed on my podcast have asked me, on and off mic, if I know who to reach out to to correct errors of fact about themselves and shows they've worked on. The biggest gaps seem to be right around the time networks started compressing the closing credits to make room for more ads... I mean... more content. Personally, I exist in TCM's media database (despite never working on a single film), but I'm not credited on IMDB on any of the nearly 50 horrible shows I worked on over a five year period.

It looks like people can no longer request certain things (like their age) be removed from the site, so maybe that will help lead to marginally better performance.
