Probably because it would mean hearing things like "Coming up next is the
News at Ten..." or "Stay tuned for a late night Good Morning Britain..."
which doesn't make sense, but that's what ITV is apparently doing.

As with most global sports there will be an English language 'World Feed.'
Sky's Martin Tyler usually does games on that, and he's one of the very
best. Similarly, John Roder is another freelance commentator who works on
the World Feed and is a safe pair of hands. Fox could easily take these
feeds as part of their rights deal, but obviously the commentary wouldn't
be tailored to US audiences e.g. highlighting players with MLS connections.
