Oh, Kevin, I am so sorry to read about your mom. I spend almost no time on Facebook these days, but I remember her often being a presence on your page.
I can't say that I almost got to meet her, but I remember that back in 2008 you helped me write a piece for a contest with the agreement that if I won, I would take your mom with me to claim the prize, which I readily agreed to do. Unfortunately, I didn't win (although I should have!), so your mom and I didn't get to claim the experience. Please know that I will be thinking of you.
