There's been a string of Democrats on. The one Republican I can remember, Jeff Flake, is a Trump critic. It is not clear who from the right is willing to go on the show. Politicians, as a generality, are attention whores, so I can't believe they can't find anyone. Finding someone who might make an acceptable guest would be tougher.
