No clue about specific absences, since I'm still a bit behind.
But it has been common for some band members to leave briefly for outside gigs.
For instance, one of the trumpet players tours with his own band and/or with
OAR and will be gone for a few weeks from time to time.

In other familiar faces news, I'll just note that former Stay Human band member
Eddie Barbash (now without a mustache) was playing with the band for at least a
few shows last month. (I'm behind in my Late Show watching, so I don't know
how many just yet.)
