Recently watched the Benedict Cumberbatch film “The Courier” which featured
a lot of Russian dialogue, which the filmmakers took pains to embed English
translation on the screen. But my wife enjoys watching shows with the
captions on, and over the embedded English translation on the screen, the
caption covered it with the words “speaking Russian” so we couldn’t read
it. Brilliant.
