Sorry directv and dishnet dishes onlywork for their services - if you are interested in FTA on KU you will need a minimum 31 inch dish. For C Band, I would highly recommend nothing smaller than 5 or 6 foot. Which you would want to watch would definitely depend on what you are looking for to see. Most C Band dishes will work for Ku as well, so one large BUD would suffice for both Ku and C.
