Hi all: Drupal is an Open Source modular framework and content management system written in PHP. It has a rich API for developing web applications/modules. It comes with a fairly sophisticated management interface for the administrator to manage, organize, customize content, administer users.
Drupal stands out among its peers due to ease of virtual hosting, judicious use of resources, large number of modules and high performance. Like any Open Source project, the success of Drupal is due to large number of contributors and active user community. The contributions page talks about the various ways in which one can contribute. Please see http://drupal.org/contribute For those of us who would like to help with Development http://drupal.org/contribute/development Here are the two links that developers must look at Help with Bugs http://drupal.org/project/issues?projects=3060&states=1&categories=bug List of Tasks http://drupal.org/project/issues?projects=3060&states=1&categories=task Helping with fixing bugs is a pragmatic way to start into a large project such as Drupal. thanks Saifi.
