If u a bootable disk of windows it can help u restore the windows boot
loader but I am not familiar with it.

I can suggest a work around

Get a live CD of ubuntu and boot from that then:

Not sure it will help since u don't have the linux installed anymore - U can
check the section on preserving windows boot loader. I m not sure it will
help. I wud simply install ubuntu on to the deleted linux partition and
clean up the system thereafter.
