Saifi,

I am not quite sure of what kind of help you are looking for but i have a
friend who is using BSNL EVDO ... though he pronounces it as "edo" .... well
as far as i know , he uses it with express slot and rumours are that this is
a way BSNL has come up with to reduce the hike in the demand for BSNL modems
!!! ... and the speeds are pretty high .. not sure if it is 2.4Mbps ! ...
and he pays 600 per month.. oh yeah , unlimited download capacity !! ...
and also the demand for this piece of technology is not very high ... u can
expect a connection in (at maximum) 2 days . I though am not sure of the
details and my frend stays in suryapet ! ... this technology works with CDMA
towers and not with GSM ones ... (so,if suryapet has a tower , that means
even hyd should have 1 or 2 ) ... well again , not sure of the details ....
anywyaz , this friend of mine knows people in BSNL .. so , any specific
question , i can ask him to get the information .

Regards,
Karthik
