Hi Nancy I've been thinking about using warp weights - do they really keep the tension as tight as it needs to be for weaving, or do you end up with quite a loose-ish braid? I've been using bobbins while I'm playing with kukihimo (yay, it's fun!) but really not sure that weight would keep things as taut as I like for tablet weaving.. Sarah

You can get them at the hardware store. I used 3/8" X 4 1/2" bolts that weight 2 2/3 oz. a piece on my 10/2 perle cotton warp. They are easy to hang on the warp threads.
