Thanks Miguel I would propose that as port 29333 is in use by Twister we add 10,000 to everything for the Testnet. If anyone has any thoughts then let me know.
Twister MainNet - default port: 28333 network magic number: 0xf0dabbd2 Twister TestNet - default port: 38333 network magic number: 0xf0dae2e2 I don't think the other things that were changed between Bitcoin & Twister will need to be changed between the Twister Mainnet & Testnet but let me know if anyone thinks they should be changed. If nobody has any issues then I will work on some patches for twister-core & twister-seeder and also update my dnsseeder with the new details. I am not an html/css/js person so if anything in twister-html needs to be changed then I will leave this for others. Also if anyone has details on how to create a new genesis block or other tasks that we will need to do then send them through :-) Regards Lyndsay On Monday, September 21, 2015 at 10:40:46 PM UTC+12, Miguel Freitas wrote: > > Hi, > > Thanks for the question! > > twister has no testnet just because i never cared to implement the testnet > settings ;-) > > I think testnet is always useful. even if we reach a maturity state, > testnet is a good playground for new ideas.
