According to the API documentation retweets do not appear in a user's timeline when requested via the statuses/user_timeline method. It seems as though through the API it's not possible to see what a particular individual is retweeting. Is this assertion correct, and if so, is there a plan to make such functionality available?
Also, it would be awesome if we could get through the API that a status has been retweeted when making requests to a user's timeline. This would avoid the overhead of going through each tweet and making a statuses/retweets call. Thank you, Brendan
