I will modify the code to use a variable for this outside the ics unit, as this will create only extra complication when a new ICS is available.

But, you mention it's very different from your current one, do you mean a new version still in development? since I have the latest distribution available from your website, unless I've missed a link to a beta or newer version :)
The latest version is always available from the subversion repository (svn://svn.overbyte.be/ics/trunk or daily snapshot). The zip file at www.overbyte.be is updated only once or twice a year at some fixed milestones.
