I'm not opposed. btw. It might be just about time to split the DT bits into nios2.dtsi and nios2_3c120_devboard.dts , where the former would contain the generic bits of the binding and the later would only fill in the necessary address ranges and such. I do understand though, that the problem here might be that the hardware is just too flexible.
