I am running Debian 13 with binutils 2.44 and have come across a problem
with event_dump.py
With LTO enabled it fails like this:
$ ./scripts/event_dump.py ./build-sandbox_spl/u-boot

So it cannot find any of the static functions. Adding back the __used
attribute does not seem to help.
With LTO disabled it works:
