Following Tom's review of v2, add a common include/asm-generic/spl.h with the BOOT_DEVICE_* list, use it for RISC-V, and then add BOOT_DEVICE_UFS to it. Other architectures that do not need ROM-defined values can switch to the common header in follow-up patches.
