I've just been doing a bunch of work for EDI clients. There is a lot of
infrastructure in place that works well, and won't be replaced. The
standards are mature. Anyone wanting to interact with department stores (in
the US anyway) had better get with EDI. I think the aerospace industry has
it's own flavor.....

Now, the future of VANs.... That's a different story.

Bruce,

not definitive, but an answer none-the-less.

I would say "Declining".

The London (England) insurance market has been using EDI for many years, but
has now commenced a migration to XML etc.

Goo'day,

Is there anybody out there that can give a definitive answer to the future
of EDI.....

Growing? Peaked? Stagnated? Declining?
