I understood exactly what you were saying. The "solution" was for the case where the acct *wasn't* being exited and therefore @FILENAME, @RECORD, etc. not flushed. [Unless, of course, the "cache" you speak of is something specific to TRANS() rather than the above, but I can't see why that would be.]
