Gee Bill - how do you really feel ;) We have some "framework" that creates an active select list (as we need it to work with the SB+ selection process). I only had to change a couple lines of code and strangely it seemed to run *much* faster.
Maybe try bringing it up with Rocket. Being more "agile" was one of the touted benefits of the move from IBM. Perhaps it will get enhanced (more than the 7.1 enhancement of 256 from 120 items). - good - work with more/unlimited items - better - work with a select list for any dict item, not just the key - best - as above plus nested selects (SQL style). Good luck Colin Alfke Calgary, Canada -----Original Message----- From: Bill Haskett Colin: U2 (IBM) has an excrutiatingly painful "hack" work-around for this inexcusable AQL limitation. http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/techarticle/dm-0906u2selectve rb/index.html I'm not sure what effects these kinds of things have on process "freezing". You're right that in v7.1.9 and earlier the process just blew up and I didn't know it just hangs now. Hmmmm.
