We quite successfully use Apple's free, built in "Terminal" to access UniVerse and SB+
Current "Snow Leopard" (10.6) version of OSX is best, as it's far easier to program the function keys to suit. Can you just use Mac's built in terminal to telnet or ssh to your UniVerse server? What type of terminal emulation does your server expect?
