Anyone got any clues here: I have set up an MS SQL linked server which uses the UniOleDB driver to allow me to execute sql commands against UV and return the rows into SQL. This SQL instance (on a VM) was restored recently and after the restore the way the extracts worked changed. Previously the extract was truncating the width of long columns to the column spec. eg if a column (field) was specified as being 10 characters (VARCHAR,10) but contained 12 characters the extra 2 would be truncated automatically. Since the restore, everything else being equal, the extracts are now returning the 12 characters. Just wondering if anyone knows where or how or what this setting is? I've looked in most obvious places but I'm at a loss now. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Stuart Boydell
