In the past I've run a batch routine to just query each and every Universe ile for it's inode and device and build a table of these Every week.... Seems like a great amount of overkill to me. You could also mod the CREATE-FILE command to sniff it and make an xref entry ut .... Any suggestions? This is NOT for the case where you know the file and want to find the inode nd device It's for the case where you know the inode and device (only) and want to find he file. _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list U2-Users@listserver.u2ug.org http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users ______________________________________________ 2-Users mailing list 2-us...@listserver.u2ug.org ttp://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list U2-Users@listserver.u2ug.org http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users
