I'm in my current job because I was willing to learn Python at work and on my own dime. I took a beginner's course in Python at the University of Washington because I didn't know much besides Prime Information, Henco's Info, Structure/4, UniVerse, UniData and MITS. It was fun to learn Python as the syntax was so similar to Pick basic. Program controls is through indentation, which we usually use anyway. They even go Pick one better: an IF statement doesn't need an END. They all require one, right, so why not assume it? I love that thinking. Learn some Python.
