I installed At&t's dialup accelerator last week and it also knocked out telnet. All Universe services now start but now I'm receiving rpc error 80011, So I'm guessing there may still be some conflict

Hi Greg,
Check to see the original telnet daemon hasn't started (should be in services). Universe uses the same port and if it is already being used, you will not be able to start the universe daemon.
