Responsibilities: As a member of the technical staff, the Computer Scientist is responsible for inventing algorithms and developing application-independent routines used in all of the company�s products. Heavy emphasis is placed on scalability and both time and space efficiency. Although most of this work is in the area of machine learning, statistical models and prediction, there are also core components in the area of distributed processing and User Interface. Requirements: � Bachelor�s degree (Advanced degree in CS is preferred) � Should have familiarity with C++, Java, or other object-oriented languages. � Should have 2+ years of relevant industry experience. � Must have academic or practical experience in developing highly efficient algorithms in the areas of reasoning under uncertainty, machine learning, probability, artificial intelligence, databases, user interfaces or distributed processing. � Expert knowledge in C++ with some Java is acceptable. � Mastery of Java and cross-platform development is ideal.
