The Machine Learning group of Computer Science Laboratory of Grenoble (http://ama.liglab.fr <http://ama.liglab.fr/>) and the LEAR team of INRIA (http://lear.inrialpes.fr/) are investigating the topic of Learning from non-iid data, with focus ranging from multi-task learning to zero-shot learning and transfer learning, We are seeking highly creative and motivatedpostdoctoralResearch Associates/Assistant, working with Prof. Massih-Reza Amini and Dr. Zaid Harchaoui on these topics. This position is based in Grenoble, France.
The successful applicant will have or be near completing a PhD in computer science, signal processing, statistics, applied mathematics or engineering sciences, and will have extensive research experience and a strong publication record in machine learning, or related fields (statistics, signal processing, etc.). They also need to have an excellent command of written and spoken English as well as very good interpersonal skills.
