First things first - if you want, you can have as many commands in the
command
editor as you wish - though with syntax highlighting enabled, it might get
sluggish
with too much code. (this problem will be addressed in later versions of
ubiquity)

That being said - there are three main ways you can subscribe to your own
commands:
1) from the editor, choose 'Save to file' which will save to a local file
and automatically
subscribe you to that file.
2) from the editor, choose 'Share', which will post the content of the
editor to github and
take you to the post - from there, you should be able to subscribe to the
command like
any other feed - I wouldn't choose auto-update though, that wouldn't be safe
3) if you have anywhere to host the feed, you can follow the instructions
found here:
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Labs/Ubiquity/Ubiquity_0.1_Author_Tutorial#Sharing_it_with_the_World

If you want it to appear on the Herd, you must subscribe to the Herd command
AND your
own feed at the same time - this will automatically make your feed appear in
the Herds
database.

Hope that covered all the bases,
Best regards
