Personally I think these icons are looking gorgeous, and huge props for the "from scratch" attitude. My sole criticism would be that some color schemes aren't quite lush enough. Take for example the F-Spot logo; I feel the purple should be darker, as it would "pop" more. Same is true of the black bar at the top of the notepad icon for text-editor. The best icons, IMO, are the two dictionaries, optical drive 1, and the camera-photo one. All these do a great job on leveraging color contrast to appeal to the eye. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAkkcAYYACgkQJ4frn1+kMloIggCgp8m+N6+0uJmqOgBcK27rq14W XksAn34eD8U1gbDYCVymAiFqbmlr80cN =ye8J -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- ubuntu-art mailing list ubuntu-art@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-art
