Are you with iiNet dialup? If not, you should be concerned about getting slow speeds and report it to iiNet support. If you're not already doing so, you should consider switching your standard Ubuntu updates to use the iiNet mirror. To do this: 1. Open System -> Administration -> Software Sources from the main menu 2. enter your password 3. Select the "Download from" drop-down and choose "other" 5. Select ftp.iinet.net.au under the Australia subheading 6. Select "Choose Server", then "close", then "reload" This will make your updates come from the iiNet freezone.
