Yes, of course!

I was pointing that the inclusion of codecs needs to be "legalised"
like many distors have done.

Something like "Not legal in U.S" in small fonts in your license which
of course nobody ever reads. :D

So that when uncle sam comes to catch the theives (very unlikely) you
can always show and say "see I mentioned that ..."
