Outra coisa, vc usa o Ubuntu 5.10? Pq esse comando de montar ele faz automaticamente com o hotplug. Nao acredito que o 5.10 nao tenha tentado/conseguido montar sua camera como vfat, pois este é o padrao para pendrives/dispositivos de armazenagem.
